Gilivanka Kedzior & Barbara Friedman work together since 2010.

Using performances, videos, sounds and photography, they analyze the comparison with each other and the issues that are connected to it, having as subjects: social games; dominant / dominated relationships; codes and what happens to them once taken out of context; the genre, with its limitations and ambiguities; the issues of double and multiple characters in a single skin; or even the identity, status, and the image of women.

Their video works have been shown at various international locations, including the Prince Charles Cinema in London (November 2011); CAM | Casoria Contemporary Art Museum in Naples (March 2012); the University of La Rioja, Logroño, Spain (June 2012); the Faculty of Fine Arts in Timisoara, Romania (October 2012); the Cultural Center of Belgrade, Serbia (October 2012); the Fundação Oriente Macau, China (December 2012); Mori + Stein Gallery in London (January 2013); the SAZMANAB Platform for Contemporary Arts in Tehran (February 2013); the Goethe Institute in Toulouse (March 2013); Videotage, Hong Kong (April 2013); the Museum of Contemporary Art in Wroclaw, Poland (April 2013) and the Museum of Art in Łódź, Poland (June 2013).

Regarding their performances, they performed at various venues including the NUIT BLANCHE 2013 | 5th edition of FRASQ (October 2013) and IRL performance (January 2013) in Paris; the Traverse Video Festival in Toulouse (March 2013); MPA | Month of Performance Art, Berlin (May 2012); ARENA ... of the Young Arts | International Theatre Festival, Erlangen, Germany (July 2012); the Lower Polk Art Walk and many art galleries in San Francisco (November 2012); the ATHENS Video Art Festival | International Festival of Digital Arts & New Media, Athens (June 2013) and the IMAF 2013 | 15th International Multimedial Art Festival, Serbia (September 2013).

Their performance [ACANTHESTHESIA] won the ARENA ... of the Young Arts Co-Production award (July 2012, Erlangen, Germany).

Currently they live and work in Toulouse, France.
